Near West Side

Tri-Taylor: Tri-Taylor, roughly bordered by Halsted Street, Western Avenue, the Eisenhower Expressway and 15th Street, encompasses Chicago's Little Italy, the University of Illinois at Chicago and the Illinois Medical District. Once a port of entry for new immigrants, this area was packed with people from all over the world at the turn of the century. Today, Tri-Taylor is anchored by the University of Illinois at Chicago and Chicago's medical district. On the east end of Tri-Taylor, UIC is undergoing a major expansion. It also sold off a large swath of land that has been developed into University Village, a residential neighborhood with hundreds of new homes for sale.


Tri-Taylor real estate features a variety of affordably-priced housing options including new-construction and rehabbed lofts, 19th century row homes, town homes, single-family homes, two- and three-flats and larger vintage Tri-Taylor apartment buildings.


Tri-Taylor is a bustling area thanks to a number of government, business and community organizations working to further its development.
