Courtney Larisey is a native Chicagoan who strives to keep her clients smiling through the empowering process of buying and selling homes. She prides herself on her accessibility, diligence, and creativity to deliver results.

As a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Journalism and Business Schools, she effectively consults with clients to uncover their wants and needs. Her greatest professional satisfaction is the moment in placing her clients together with the right property.

With a family history in real estate and a desire to work more closely with people, Courtney found success early in her transition to the industry in 2005 from the corporate world of advertising sales. She earned the “Rookie of the Year” award at her previous real estate company with only six months of sales under her belt.

Courtney earned her CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert) designation in 2009.  She utilizes these strategies daily to benefit her clients.

Courtney joined @properties in 2008, attracted to the company’s innovative marketing, PR, and technology to support her business and give greater exposure to her clients’ properties.

Courtney works very well with first time homebuyers, sellers, and investors in the city’s most popular downtown neighborhoods, including Lincoln Park, Lincoln Square, Lakeview, Wicker Park, Bucktown, South Loop, Printers’ Row, North Center, Ravenswood, and Ravenswood Manor.

In her free time, Courtney learns, plays, and performs at Chicago’s famous Second City Theater. She loves to try new restaurants and hotspots in the city, as well as cheer on the Badgers in neighborhood watering holes. In a pinch, Courtney has been known as a concierge for her clients, advising on anything from the perfect restaurant for the occasion to the best shortcut to US Cellular Field.  She is also working on strengthening her Spanish language skills and wine knowledge, often simultaneously.

Courtney sits on the board of the Wisconsin Alumni Association-Chicago Chapter, and is also involved with Gamma Phi Beta’s Chicago Alumni Chapter. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Illinois Association of Realtors, and Chicago Association of Realtors.  She has lived in New York City and Sevilla, Spain but counts Chicago as her favorite home.

Courtney and her dog Charlie currently live in the West Horner Park neighborhood, just west of Lincoln Square.  They can be found every morning running at Horner Park.
