George joined @properties in 2002 and has enjoyed watching the growth of the company since its early days. He has been a Realtor® for over 8 years. After graduating from Purdue University with a Master of Fine Arts in Acting, George moved to Chicago ten years ago to pursue his acting career. The biggest asset that he brings to Real Estate from his acting training is his ability to listen to his clients' needs and give them the knowledge to make well-informed, profitable decisions.
After living in Wrigleyville, River North and now settling in West Town/East Village, he is familiar with all areas downtown and has had buying and selling experiences from Portage Park to Evanston on down to the South Loop.
George is entering his 9th year as a Realtor®. He has extensive experience in selling new construction, conversions, as well as re-selling all types of homes from condos to town homes and from single family homes to multi-units. He has consistently remained in the top 2% of production for all Chicago Area Realtors® and prides himself on his knowledge of the market. He does not "throw darts" at evaluating the value of a home. His extensive research and experience will guide you in establishing the value of a home and negotiating from a position of power and not conjecture.
He understands the importance of buying or selling a home in a person's life. Whether your home is $100,000 or $1,000,000, you will receive honest, immediate input on your transaction.
He and Kristine Kramer, another @properties agent, work tirelessly to ensure that your transaction will go smoothly as possible. Charismatic, knowledgeable and great communicators, they both work hard for their clients. Their team was strengthened in 2006 with the addition of Steven Hnatow.
George has served on the Chicago Area Realtor Association’s Ethics Committee and for the past two years has sat on their Board of Directors. He has Certifications as a Negotiating Expert as well as Social Media Marketing.

In 2008, George made the transition from Realtor to Managing Broker for @properties' Bucktown Office. He brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Though no longer doing day to day sales, he keeps his analytical skills sharp by serving as our Vice President of Development Sales and Brokerage while managing the sales and consulting on pricing of our Development Projects.
He now primarily focuses on the growth of his agents' business and being there to help them dissect a situation so as to bring about the best plan of action.
George is excited about 2010 as his agents business will grow exponentially as the market continues to recover.
