I've spent time living in the mountains of Colorado, the Pacific Northwest, Milwaukee and Rome, Italy before making Chicago my home in 1999. With a background in sales and marketing for a start up online marketing company the transition to real estate was easy. The challenge of being an independent contractor and developing my own style of business using my personal values and work ethic suited me. Growing up in a real estate family I had an excellent foundation in the business and joined the industry in the early part of 2002 and @properties in the fall of 2007.
I am a real estate professional with additional EcoBroker training on the energy and environmental issues that affect real estate transactions. There are tremendous green resources available in the market and as part of my service commitment to my clients, I can help identify and make sense of these invaluable green opportunities. I am a great facilitator in this regard.
This spring I passed the exam for the US Green Building Council's (USGBC) LEED rating system and am now a full fledged LEED AP. The LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) rating system is a voluntary certification that will distinguish structures built using 'green' technologies.
I am also working toward a degree in Interior Design at Harrington College of Design. I hope to set myself apart by using the skills Ive acquired at Harrington to help both sellers and buyers see the potential of their homes.
My business is based on the referrals of past clients who have had first hand experience with the topnotch service I provide. My goal is to make sure every client gets the personal attention needed before, during and after the process of buying or selling a home.
