Susan has made an impact in the Real Estate industry since 1987 focusing on sales, training and management. A native mid-westerner, she focuses on new construction, condo conversions, apartment building acquisition, condo and single family re-sales in the Chicagoland area. Having worked on over 30 condominium developments, her extensive background in various types of transactions and working with buyers and sellers makes her one of Chicago’s most sought-after brokers.
“To be in real estate this long and be successful, you really have to love it and I do! I love the diversity….everyday is different and that makes for a great challenge,” says Tetrault. A positive outlook on life has always been behind everything she has done.

Specializing in residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, Susan has a talent for finding properties that are not publicly marketed through the Multiple Listing Service. Involved from start to the finish, Susans’ interaction with all parties including developers, architects, attorneys, lenders and buyers/sellers are constant and friendly. Her negotiating skills are a testament to her sound leadership qualities making it a WIN-WIN scenario for all parties involved.
Susan relies on her referral network for business. “Once you are my client, you are my client for life,” says Susan. Her client list is as diverse as the neighborhoods that she works in. Whether it’s an investor, developer or a first-time buyer, Susan will get the job done.
Susan was recently featured on the HGTV show “HOUSE HUNTERS.” She sold a town home, to her clients, in a new construction development in Andersonville where she was also one of the lead sales people. As well as television, Susan has also been featured in the Chicago Sun-Times Real Estate section with first-time home buyer, Keith Dolton, and has been quoted on the featured startup web page for The Chicago Association of Realtors.
In addition to being a Broker Associate, she is a long time member of the Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR) and is consistently in the top 1% of Realtors. Susan is an Alumni Club Member and a Sweathog Graduate, a Floyd Wickman intense Real Estate training. Susan is a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors.
Susan has consistently achieved multiple accolades as a multi-million dollar producer. In 2005 she received the “Gold Award” for outstanding sales, a past recipient of the Presidents Award in 1994 and also CoOp Awards presented to outstanding, multi-million dollar producers recognized through CAR.
Originally from Michigan, Susan has lived in Chicago for the past 24 years and considers it her home.
