Tom Durkin joined @properties in the spring of 2008. He is proud to be observing his 30th anniversary successfully helping buyers and sellers int he Chicago real estate business. He is a licensed Broker with many years of experience in resales, condo conversions and rentals, both residential and commercial. He also has experience as a building manager, and can recommend contractors of all kinds with whom he has worked while managing condo buildings. Tom is a lifelong resident of Chicago, having grown up on the south side and then residing in East Rogers Park for many years. He knows all of Chicago, including th quirks of each of the many different Chicago neighborhoods. His knowledge of history and real estate throughout Chicago allows him to successfully advise his clients through any type of real estate transaction. He is a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, the Illinois Association of Realtors, and The National Association of Realtors. He enjoys being a father of 4 and a proud grandfather of many. He has various hobbies and interests, including acting; if you watch carefully you might catch sight of him in any one of severals movies filmed in Chicago during the 90s. When he is not listing or selling Real Estate, he is likely to be writing on a political blog. He is also involved in public service, and is currently a Green Party candidate for the Illinois State Senate. Personal referrals continue to be his largest source of clients. Tom finds that this is a great time to be alive , and to be involved in the sale of Real Estate in our beautiful city.
