A luxury home specialist who combines a background in commercial banking with entrepreneurial innovation and a genuine commitment to her clients, Kevin Wood is one of the most successful and highly regarded residential brokers in Chicago.

Kevin began selling real estate in 1990 after a successful 12-year career in commercial banking. Her experience with global financial institutions including the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Mellon Bank, affords her a unique perspective on the financial analysis, risk assessment and negotiations inherent to any home sale. At the same time, Kevin balances her corporate background with an entrepreneurial spirit that drives effective deal-making and a consistently high level of production.

Over the past two decades, Kevin has consistently ranked among the top 30 residential brokers in the city of Chicago by sales volume, and her $3.5 million average transaction price is easily the highest among downtown brokers. She has sold well over 200 million-plus-dollar homes during her career.

Yet despite her focus on the high end of the market, Kevin's style is approachable and down to earth, qualities she learned from her father, who ran a small residential brokerage firm in Kevin's home town of Anderson, Indiana. Unlike many top producers, Kevin is hands-on throughout the process, attending showings, conducting follow-up with clients and co-op brokers, and communicating with clients during negotiations and escrow. Her service commitment has earned her a reputation for integrity, going the extra mile, and investing the time and effort to ensure the best outcome for her clients.

Kevin has experience in a variety of neighborhoods and housing styles. She has sold vintage homes, high-end new construction, townhomes and condominiums.  Her network extends from the city to the North Shore of Chicago and into Southwest Michigan. She is also an experienced rehabber, residing in a home she recently renovated in Chicago's DePaul neighborhood.
