Buying or selling a home is probably the most expensive transaction you will make in your life. With my business approach to real estate, I work with sellers to obtain premium pricing for their home, and with buyers to find the right home at the right price. I work extensively with sellers to educate them about market conditions, staging and pricing. Together we triangulate the "right" list price to quickly draw traffic and offers, with a goal of selling their home in less than 30 days. And my statistics reflect the success of that approach - my homes sell much more quickly than those represented by other agents. And those homes sell much closer to their original list price. This sales approach saves my clients months of expenses including mortgages, taxes, insurance, and assessments. Buyers are not just interested in finding a home they can afford. They want a great house that fits their lifestyle in the right neighborhood with the move timed just right. I work with buyers to address all of these factors from the beginning of the search and throughout the whole process. As an agent, my approach is grounded by years of business experience. I served as the Chief Financial Officer of Grubb & Ellis, a publicly traded commercial real estate brokerage firm for many years, and was the CFO of the Balcor Company, a large Chicago-based real estate investment and management company.
