The Lux Home Chicago team, founded by Realtor, Anne Ewasko, does things differently, considering real estate sales to be "an art" that requires great expertise. Ewasko's eye was drawn to real estate while living in Asia in the 1990s, seeing many of her friends paying upwards of $10,000 a month for Hong Kong apartments. "I realized then that investing in real estate was the way to go and I wanted to be one of those landlords," she says. When she moved to Chicago in 1997, she bee-lined into real estate and now owns 15 rentals.

Ewasko's previous corporate careers in the music industry with artists such as Michael Jackson and Rod Stewart and as the marketing director for ELLE magazine's Mandarin editions gave her a solid foundation in satisfying clients' high expectations and a mastery of branding properties, skills which she applies daily. Fluent in Mandarin, Ewasko has been recognized internationally as a leading broker.
