847.832.0002Since launching my real estate career in 2005, I've helped clients buy and sell more than 300 properties throughout Chicagoland, representing over $120 million in sales (MRED, LLC, based on closed sales data, 03/2005-05/2026). I bring over two decades of real estate, construction, renovation, and property management experience to every client relationship — a combination that gives my clients a true advantage in today's market. From first-time buyers and growing families to seasoned investors and developers, I pride myself on offering strategic guidance, honest advice, and real-world insight that goes far beyond the transaction itself.
The draw to real estate was always the people. Before becoming a broker, I spent years working in restaurants, where I learned how much I enjoyed connecting with people, understanding their needs, and supporting them throughout the experience. That naturally carried over into real estate after my wife and I purchased our first home in Bucktown in 2003. I loved the process, became fascinated by the industry, and after spending a few hours talking with my own broker over coffee, I knew this was the right career for me.
What sets me apart is the depth of experience I bring beyond buying and selling homes. In addition to real estate sales, I've spent nearly 20 years as co-owner of a property management company stewarding over 450 properties throughout Chicagoland including renovations, maintenance projects, leasing, and capital improvements. I've personally worked on everything from residential remodels to commercial buildouts, giving me a trained eye for construction quality, resale potential, and smart return-on-investment decisions. Whether helping a buyer evaluate a home or advising a seller on strategic updates before listing, I provide practical guidance rooted in firsthand experience.
Having navigated multiple market cycles (including the 2008 housing downturn), I bring a calm, strategic perspective to every transaction. I understand buying or selling a home is both a financial and emotional decision and work hard to ensure my clients feel informed and confident every step of the way. Many clients describe me as their "go-to guy" not only during the transaction, but long after closing — trust I never take for granted.
Today, my business spans both Chicago and the North Shore. After 16 years living in Bucktown and Logan Square, my wife and I moved to Glenview to build our home and raise our daughters in the community we proudly call home. While Glenview and the North Shore are now a major focus of my business, I continue to work extensively throughout the city and surrounding suburbs, helping clients at every stage of their real estate journey.
