More Than Just a House, It’s a Home
As a real estate agent, these are words I live by. I worked with my mother to start her real estate career over 20 years ago, and she is still thriving in the industry today. I was licensed 11 years ago, and my brother, Jeff, is also an agent with @properties in the city. It’s a family business, and my experience and knowledge make me stand out from the crowd.
Experience, Knowledge and Technology
Prior to being an agent, I was a licensed personal banker with Bank One (now Chase) in Deerfield and Lake Forest, and then a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley in Riverwoods. The extensive training I experienced helped me understand the financing necessary to move forward with the biggest purchase you’ll ever make. I’ve got a knack for numbers and a love for technology, which I’ve combined to reinvent the way business is done. Though I’m a recipient of numerous sales awards for being a multimillion-dollar producer, I focus on what my clients want, not how much they want to spend.
Born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, I moved to Illinois 15 years ago. Currently, I live in the Northwest Suburbs with my wife and three children. My finance career had me travelling throughout the Chicagoland area on a daily basis, making me an expert in the suburban markets, specifically McHenry, Northwest Cook, Kane, Lake and DuPage Counties.
Relo to First-Timers to Seasoned Buyers
Whether this is your first house or your 10th, I can find what you need. I work with buyers and sellers of all kinds, always with the goal of identifying the right price and the right home. I’ve sold and marketed a number of new construction projects, and worked with D.R. Horton, the largest homebuilder in America. Relocation is one of my specialties, because I know what it’s like to start over in a new place. I will not only find you a house in a location you love, but I will help you find that great pizza joint or the perfect park to take the kids; it’s more than just a new home, it’s a new life.
The Team of the Future
I joined @properties because it has a boutique mentality with the size and strength to provide high-quality service and a superior buying experience. I am teaming up with other @ agents to create the Chicago Living Group, focusing on both urban and suburban real estate services. We have new members on the way that will enable us to cover every nook and cranny that exists in the entire Chicagoland area and beyond.
Areas Served
Probably the best way to define my areas served is to look at it based on geography as well as Counties/Cities. As for geography, I work an area roughly bound by 294 to the East, 290/88 to the South, Wisconsin state line to the North and the Western boundaries of McHenry & Kane Counties to the West.
Here is what that looks like from a County/City perspective:

What Else to Know
My top priority in my free time is my family, and I also enjoy golf, ice hockey and tinkering with technology. Being an agent is a 24/7 job, and I’m there for clients when needed. Though real estate has always been a family affair and was a natural fit, I entered the business because I enjoy helping people, and achieving the goal of finding my clients more than just a house - finding them a home.
