Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Lauren moved to Chicago in 2005 with whatever she could fit in her car and her curiosity to explore big, beautiful Chicago. She found work in the hospitality industry- first talking with guests about burgers and milk shakes and working her way up over the years to discussing Italian wines and seafood. While food and hospitality will always be important to Lauren, the itch for working in real estate only grew over the years as she learned more about all of Chicago's neighborhoods. In 2011, she finished an Associates Degree in Architecture at Harold Washington College. Eventually it made sense to combine her love for Chicago's architecture and the people that make Chicago great to become a licensed real estate broker with @properties.

Lauren is dedicated to helping her clients every step of the way. Whether it's a home buyer dipping their toes in the water for the first time or a seasoned seller, she is there- from listing, to negotiations, to closing. Her goal is to make the process as stress free as possible for her clients. She has a large understanding of Chicago and it's neighborhoods; is an excellent communicator and listener; is calm under pressure; and she comes with her own network of experts and support. She knows there is always more to learn and constantly educates herself about Chicago's market. 

Lauren has spent the last 12 years living in several of Chicago's west side neighborhoods. She believes in community building and giving back, because great things start on the micro level. She can often be found exploring restaurants all over the city, gardening, attending underground comedy shows, playing tennis in Humboldt Park, working on jigsaw puzzles, and chatting with her neighbors (and their pets) on the sidewalks in the Logan Square neighborhood.
