@properties

The @properties Friends and Neighbors Community Fund was created out  of the desire to give back to Chicago and to help support the city that has allowed our company to grow and prosper during even the most challenging of economic times.

We believe that together with our agents and clients we can create change and growth in the neighborhoods in which we live and work. @properties is working to improve the quality of life for those found in unfortunate circumstances, by supporting programs that focus on homelessness, education and youth development.

URBAN INITIATIVES : www.urbaninitiatives.org
works with schools, teachers and parents to boost the physical fitness. health education, academic performance, and character development of children from Chicago's underserved communities by actively engaging them in safe and structured extracurricular activities through soccer programs, field trips, and cultural outings.

STREET LEVEL : www.street-level.org
educates Chicago's urban youth in media arts and emerging technologies for use in self-expression, communication, and social change. Street-Level' programs build critical thinking skills for young people who have been historically neglected by public policy makers and mass media

CAMP OF DREAMS: www.campofdreams.org
believes that too many young peoples, especially those between the ages of 8 to 18 who are economically disadvantaged, fall between the cracks in Chicago's educational system. These students can benefit enormously from the same types of educational, cultural, and community-building oppurtunities that are more readily afforded to young people from more privilged situations.

LINCOLN PARK COMMUNITY SHELTER: www.lpcsonline.org
a comprehensive social service agency serving adult man and women who are experiencing homelessness. Located in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, the LPCS has been providing shelter and other basic needs to our homeless neighbors for 25 years. Today, the LPCS provides interim housing, meals, and a targeted array of social services to over 300 people each year.
