My curiosity and interest in how people live has led me to more than twenty countries around the world and at least that many neighborhoods in Chicago. I’d love to represent you as you sell or search for a home in one of the world’s greatest cities. From first-time buyers to sellers ready to move on to a new life in a new place, my greatest pleasure is helping people figure something out—whether it’s the right asking price or finding the closest bus stop.

I specialize in a brand of service that includes information, analysis, responsiveness, and is tailored to your specific needs and requirements. I work with buyers and sellers from entry-level condos in Edgewater or Logan Square, to new construction and rehabs in Bucktown or Wicker Park, to hard-to-find investment property in Ravenswood or West Town, to single family and condominium homes all along the lakefront, bringing the same attention and care to every transaction.

An agent since 2002, I joined @properties in 2004. I got my start in the business working with experienced agents, and have developed a base of loyal clients through referrals and a wide range of interests and contacts in the Chicago area.

My first million dollar deals were not in real estate, but managing multi-million dollar budgets in marketing and development. My real estate career has added the knowledge of local market conditions, neighborhood trends, how to evaluate a property. In both cases, the principles are the same: do your homework, know what you’re trying to accomplish, and be able to communicate clearly, pleasantly, and effectively. Buying or selling a home is a project I can manage for you with professional skill and personal enthusiasm.

A little more about me: I’m a Lakeview resident, owner of a two-flat, as well other investment property. Along the way, I’ve worked as a publishing executive, magazine columnist, and fundraising consultant. Originally from Minnesota, I’m a Northwestern alum and have lived in Chicago from 1966 to 1972 and again since 1994.
