Sheryl has been in the service industry for over 32 years, reaching a prestigious position of hotel General Manager for two properties simultaneously. To better educate herself, and mix passion with work opportunity, Sheryl attended Kendall College, where she earned her degree in French Pastry. To continue her education and love for fine baking, she also took the opportunity to study in Paris, France, at La Cuisine de Marie-Blanche.
After retiring from the hospitality industry, Sheryl took the opportunity to create her long awaited cookie company. Combining her experience and education with old family recipes, Sheryl has taken Abby Rose Cookie Company to everyone’s house as the new standard of what a dessert should be.
Through her 32 years of experience in the service industry along with owning a cookie company she has developed her ability to determine what is most important to her clients and guide them to meeting their goals. Sheryl works in various markets including short sales, foreclosures, luxury markets, military markets, relocation and first time homes buyers and will work tenaciously to meet the needs of all of her clients.
Personal Background and Interests
Sheryl was a member of the Kiwanis Club from 1980-2002 and served on the board for the Government Meeting Professionals. Although Sheryl is a native of Chicago and loves her town, she also enjoys traveling around the world. She loves to bake, teach baking, walking, movies, and jazzercise. In her spare time she enjoys great conversation with new friends in coffee shops.
