Marlene is a career professional in sales and customer service. Her career began in advertising and marketing as an Executive Recruiter for three Fortune 500 Companies. There she honed her skills in sales, but more than just filling high level positions—she prided herself in "perfect pairings"…the right person for the exact right position. In 2000 she had a desire to take those skills into a new arena altogether. "If I can pair people with positions, why not people with homes"…and a new career began.
Marlene worked with builders in the early 2000's building/selling/rehabbing homes on the North Shore and Northwest Suburban area as well as selling residential properties on the North Shore. During the housing slump Marlene used the time to arm herself with training and certifications in the burgeoning market of distressed properties and foreclosures. As the industry has rebounded these skills are still important in helping Home Owners with special circumstances--in need of expertise in "short selling"--which requires training and patience. First Time Buyer's are another of Marlene's specialties. Needless to say, she loves it all...and would love to work with you.
