Why Cam Benson?
I have devoted my career to real estate. Having grown up and raised a family in the Chicago area, I am familiar with all the neighborhoods. As a seasoned professional who has witnessed the ups and downs in the market, I have the ability to close deals during the toughest times. I am skilled at creative lending and doing what needs to be done to achieve my clients' real estate objectives.
I have always been dedicated to the industry and my clients because I truly love what I do. I understand that the process of buying or selling a home can be difficult and emotional, and I am always available to help clients through the process. Why Jill Cunningham?
A third-generation Realtor, I have been in real estate sales and financing for 13 years. While my specialty is in residential real estate sales, I have vast expertise that includes working in commercial real estate finance. This has given me the ability to assist clients in securing loans, as well as helping them with the task of making important financial decisions. I speak the complex language of finance, and have the ability to relay that information in a way that anyone can understand.
Born and raised in the area, I am intimately aware of all that the Chicago and North Shore neighborhoods have to offer. With a calm and engaging personality, I am the kind of person people enjoy being around. I am compassionate when it comes to my clients, and passionate about what I do. Far from soft, I am a bulldog when I need to be, and work hard to make deals happen.
In addition to spending time with my husband and two children, I dedicate much of my time at Children’s Memorial Hospital. I serve on the Family Advisory Board and volunteer in many other areas of the Hospital.

Shelby delivers the skills and experience to master a changing real estate market. With a background in startups, she took a company from beta to established app and website in five major cities with 15,000 unique visitors a month. She knows what drives traffic, how to differentiate a product, and when to tap into the speed and agility of online marketing. Moreover, she brings years of business and investment expertise to her real estate transactions, helping her clients understand how a purchase or sale will affect the entirety of their investment portfolio.
Equally important, as a third-generation REALTOR®, Shelby has seen firsthand what drives long-term property value, how to meet client needs, and the nuances to negotiating and securing a successful transaction. Her grandmother owned a successful Chicago real estate firm for over 50 years and her aunt served as the second female president of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®.
Shelby doesn't just listen to her clients, she hears what they need and delivers. Whether clients are transitioning from renting to owning, city to suburbs, Shelby works diligently to meet their needs. She offers a voice of reason in what is often an emotional transaction. She is fastidious and committed to meeting every client's exact wants and needs “ never trying to convince her clients to settle on their expectations.
Time and again, Shelby demonstrated grit and creativity. She doesn't let a challenge or complication stand in the way of success.
Before joining her aunt and cousin at The Benson Cunningham Group, Shelby worked with several startups, most recently serving as chief operating officer of Taste Savant, the anti-Yelp restaurant discovery website and app. She started her career at Cantor Fitzgerald in New York as an investment banking analyst. She graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans with a B.S. in Finance. Shelby currently resides in Wicker Park with her husband and spends her free time checking out trend-setting restaurants, trying the latest exercise craze, and volunteering for Bright Pink and the JEH Scholarship Foundation.
