Debbie was born and raised in Glenview and has lived in Buffalo Grove and Lincolnshire. Debbie has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies Education and Psychology from University of Illinois and a Master's Degrees from Northwestern (MA in Education and an Administrative Certificate). She and her husband have two daughters who attended Stevenson High School and live in the Chicagoland area. An active community member, Debbie has been involved in school referendums, including co-authoring a book on networking and the referendum process. She is also a strong supporter of pre-school education.
