A Deerfield, IL native, Bari is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She currently resides in River North with her husband and spends her free time playing guitar and piano, volunteering as the president for the @Gives Back charity program, or playing tennis.

In 2011, Melanie received a bachelor’s degree in Choral Music Education from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. After graduation, she started her professional career in teaching before establishing herself in real estate.
