About Me

Greg embraces a consultative approach focused on identifying his clients' needs, understanding their goals, and explaining the market's nuances so that they are comfortable with the buying or selling process. In turn, his clients are empowered to make more educated decisions based on a solid foundation of knowledge and the support of an experienced agent.

These ideas have permeated hundreds of his real estate transactions over the last nineteen years, accounting for more than $2000 million in sales and recognition as a top producer by the Chicago Association of Realtors annually.

Greg promises to be your trusted advisor, your skilled negotiator and your expert facilitator as you move from your initial meeting, through the sales process, to the closing table and beyond. Greg's success has always been measured in terms of achieving his clients' goals and he aspires to exceed his clients' highest expectations. As a testament to that goal, more than 90% of Greg's new clients come from the referral of his past clients and repeat business.

A 1990 graduate of Miami University with a BS in Marketing, Greg has been a Chicago resident since 1993 and a Real Estate Consultant since 2001. In that time he has been a renter, an owner, a developer, a rehabber and an investor. He has lived in a loft, a modern new construction multi-unit, a Historic District single family home and even a storage room briefly (it's a funny story). Currently he resides in a new construction single family home along the 606 Trail on the border of Logan Square and Humboldt Park.

Clients are saying:

"If you are skeptical and mistrustful of realtors then this review is for you.

I have had almost universally bad experiences with realtors. Quite honestly I think the whole field is kind of a scam that is ripe for disruption by technology. I fired 3 during our last house search. I find the commissions excessive and had such bad experiences with Chicago realtors that I was completely disgusted.

So if this is you, hire Greg. He's a professional from top to bottom. The best things about Greg are the following:

1. He is honest and doesn't sugarcoat information. Our place had issues, he pointed them out.
2. He guides you through the process meticulously. You are not left to figure things out on your own.
3. He understands the stress of selling a home.
4. The best thing about Greg is his knowledge of builds. I think Greg could be a very successful general contractor as well. He knows about plumbing, electrical, carpentry, siding, windows, etc. This is all aside from having a good eye about what sells right now -- spare, white, Restoration Hardware inspired decor. If you list with Greg he's going to come in and let you have it -- in a good way. Change this, redo that, paint this, etc. It all adds up to a place that people will want to walk through. Our house photos were frankly the absolutely best possible representation of our property. Both of us said "our house doesn't even look this good in real life."

He pleased the toughest customer."
