Jim began his real estate career after 18 years in consultative business to business sales. He chose to apply his negotiating, marketing, pricing, and listening skills to an industry that is centered on the individual client. Jim enjoys bringing people together and negotiating the best outcome for his clients.
Jim understands the complex emotional and financial issues involved in selling or buying real estate. His collaborative approach and market knowledge can help make the often confusing process easier to navigate. Jim welcomes working with both first time buyers and sellers and those with more experience.

Jim holds a BFA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and received his MBA in Finance and Marketing from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. After 25 years living in the city of Chicago, Jim and his family moved to the northern suburb of Deerfield. In his time off, Jim enjoys cooking, reading, and losing golf balls.
