Joe Tyler Gerber is an enthusiastic real estate professional who brings a great deal of passion, integrity, and creativity to the table. Born with a passion and desire to be an industry leader in sales, Joe began his real estate career at 16, as an assistant to several local brokers. He often says that sales, marketing, and real estate run in his blood. He lives, breathes, and speaks real estate.
In 2016, after nearly five years in the business, Joe joined forces with the Karp Real Estate Group, a successful team within @properties, led by top-producing broker Nancy S. Karp. Partnering with a strong team within Chicago's largest, most successful, and fastest growing real estate firm puts Joe in a position to provide every client with the best possible experience, whether they are buying, selling and/or renting.
Joe was raised in Deerfield and currently resides in Highland Park. Joe is in the final year of his Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Media Studies, and in Public Administration and Policy from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. At Northeastern, Joe serves as a Senator on the Student Government Association Senate and also serves as an Undergraduate Representative on the University Advisory Council, which directly advises the President of the University.
After living on the North Shore for over 20 years, he is familiar with everything these communities have to offer and is extremely active in them. Joe regularly volunteers within the community as an advocate for a variety of causes. He teaches Religious School at a local synagogue, he is a volunteer for a local non-profit that supports youth and he is a strong, outspoken advocate for individuals with special needs and other traditionally marginalized groups.
