My career in Real Estate formally began in the field of inspection and engineering serving the private sector of the Chicago Land area in the late 1980's. My niche was primarily in the field of inspection and investor consultation which included the commercial and private sectors of the greater metropolitan Chicago Land area. We provided a hands-on approach which offered due diligence, maintenance and engineering consultation, as well as project and construction management for both residential and commercially diverse zoning / mixed use developments.These endeavors were from the vantage point of facility and property oversight, due diligence, and site management. This suite of services was provided almost exclusively to investors and developers of these unique Real Estate related projects. This background really set the table for my foray into Real Estate as a Michigan licensed Realtor in 2005 and of late the advent of The Kaufman Group.
The term highest and best use is seldom spoken as such, but it lies at the heart of every real estate investment. It defines the unrealized potential that a property holds and it is within this realm that defines just how The Kaufman Group is unique. Our relationship does not end at the close of escrow nor does it begin with the search for the perfect property. Rather it is forged with a very simple concept: " What is most important to you, our client?" Our objective is to provide a concierge based approach to both buyers and sellers of real estate with a focus on consultation, investment strategies, engineering, and planning and development. This focus will include primary residential, vacation and luxury homes, large open tract estates and agricultural parcels, as well as both residential and commercial development. We consistently deliver a very high level of personal service, marketing knowledge, and offer more than 25 years of consultative, engineering, and construction and project management experience.
