Amy is our listing expert and Team Leader. Amy Diamond is a licensed Real Estate Broker for the state of Illinois, focusing on the Northwest & North Suburbs of Chicago (Palatine, Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Mount Prospect/Prospect Heights, Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Rolling Meadows, Northbrook, Deerfield, Highland Park, Skokie, Melrose Park….etc). Amy brings a much-needed fresh and energetic approach to real estate. After many years of working within corporate settings, Amy realized she would put her passion for real estate to work for her. By the time she was 28 years old, she owned four homes (one primary and one secondary residence and two investment properties)! Amy chose real estate so she could assist individuals through the buying, selling, relocating, and investing of properties. Amy assists buyers, sellers and investors with the initial home search or listing their home process and listens to her clients wants and needs so she knows how to support them. She supports, negotiates and walks her clients through the contract negotiation stages of purchasing and selling a property. Amy is an expert in the areas of building trusting relationships, contract negotiation, customer service/loyalty, productivity and time management. Her goal is to empower buyers, sellers or investors to be able to make strong purchasing or selling decisions which result in positive outcomes for everyone. Amy earned her degree in Business Marketing from Indiana University. During her first position out of school, Amy spent 10 years negotiating multi-million dollar staffing deals with large corporations, such as W.W. Grainger, Chase Bank, Bank of America, and smaller local firms. Her strong negotiation skills, combined with her ability to build lasting relationships, has assisted her with her real estate success.

Julie is a graduate of Western Illinois University and Loyola University earning a dual degree in medical technology. After spending some time in South Florida, she ultimately decided to relocate back to Illinois where she missed the people and community.

Julie has lived in the Arlington Heights community for the last 20 years with her husband and four children. She applies her 15 years of experience in customer service, marketing and sales to her real estate transactions. Mark is a full-time buyer realtor who loves the thrill of the hunt. Whether you're a first-time home buyer, downsizing, upsizing or looking for an investment property, Mark has boundless energy for the home shopping process and will bring his analytical skills, DIY project experience and passion for real estate to assist you in your purchase. Are you wanting to take on a fixer-upper? Mark has experience with numerous projects including complete kitchen and bathroom rehabs, refinishing/installing wood floors, removing load-bearing walls to create an "open concept," just to name a few. Mark joined the DWD team in early 2018 because, as he says, "the collective knowledge and experience of the team is so much greater than any one individual." He will leverage that team strength to help you find your next home!

Mark is not originally from this area. In fact, he grew up in northern California and after high school moved to Honolulu, Hawaii. It was his plan to build his business and life in Honolulu, but he came out to this area on a whim; met his beautiful wife, and the rest – as they say – is history. He is often asked, "Honolulu? Why are you here?!" He would tell you "I love the Midwest culture; these are hard-working, educated people, and I've made deep friendships here." He and Laura have lived in Arlington Heights since 2002.

In his spare time, you'll find him outdoors... enjoying a Cubs game, walking his three beagles, gardening, tending his landscaping, spending time with neighbors.

For the past 20 years I have been a licensed REALTOR serving the North and Northwest sides of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Formally owning and operating my own residential contracting business, I fully understand the development process and stages of a well constructed home from the ground-up. She has been raised in the northwest suburbs but has spent most of her time in Arlington Heights. As a lifelong resident of Chicago and the northwest suburbs, she believes that real estate is a local business. She is able to educate home buyers and sellers on the value of their real estate. Having a background in Occupational Therapy taught her the most important aspect to building a positive and trusting relationship is communication.  She encourages her clients to contact her with any and all questions throughout the process of buying or selling a home. After graduating Saint Viator High School, in Arlington Heights, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois University with her major in Health Administration. Furthering her education, she graduated from Rush University with a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Kelly Vanderbilt joined the Amy Diamond Group in February of 2019. Licensed since 2012, her real estate career began in the city and North Shore area. Having been raised in the city, it was a natural fit. Eventually, Kelly moved to the Northwest suburbs with her husband and began to grow her business from there. Her love of all things real estate started nearly 15 years ago, working at the Cook County Assessor's Office, helping homeowners with their property taxes and homeowner's exemptions.

Her ability to negotiate and love of helping others makes a great fit for buyers and sellers, as she has extensive experience with both! Honesty and integrity are two things promised when working with Kelly.

In her spare time, Joanne enjoys running, working out, biking, hiking and wine tasting.
