Carolyn began her real estate career in Michigan in 2013, later joining @properties Highland Park office in 2018. With years of providing a superior level of personalized customer service, she knows the key to success is open, honest communication. She carefully listens to her clients needs to understand what it is they want to accomplish, offering her professional guidance to formulate solutions to fit each client's desired goal.
Originally from Santa Barbara, California, Carolyn's first career in commercial aviation blessed her with the opportunity to meet her husband, travel the world and experience living in many different environments including overseas. Buying and selling a home can be an emotional time. Her personal experiences allow Carolyn to empathize with her clients given the number of times she has relocated herself.
Post 9/11, Carolyn took early retirement from her airline career returning to school to earn her degree in Interior Design. With her long standing passion for architecture and design, this path was a wonderful opportunity to further explore those areas.
After years of designing the interiors of clients homes, the progression towards real estate seemed like a very good fit so in 2013 she embraced the challenge and added "Realtor" to her resume. Carolyn is currently licensed in California, Michigan and Illinois.
"My goal is simply to provide the best personalized service whether my clients are buying or selling a home" says Carolyn. To do so, she treats every client as though they were her only client. She provides open communication throughout the buying or selling transaction. She oversees the details, anticipates any potential problems before they arise and makes sure each transaction runs as smoothly as possible with the least amount of stress for all parties involved.
Carolyn takes pride in the North Shore community she lives in. Carolyn is a member of the Fort Sheridan Historical Society, volunteering in annual events such as Historic Homes Tour. When not working on real estate, Carolyn enjoys spending time with family (including their adopted rescue beagle, Betty) As aviation is a big part of their family, she loves to travel. Carolyn speaks fluent French, takes pride and pleasure in cooking & entertaining, likes bike riding, golf and long walks with Betty at her side.
