Long Grove Apple Fest starts Friday, September 20th

Friday, 13 Sep 2019 at 01:47 pm

Long Grove Apple Fest is here! Our local community's annual Apple Fest will be held on:

  • Friday, Sept. 20th - 12 to 11 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept. 21st - 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Sunday, Sept. 22nd - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

And this isn't just four tables at a farmer's market. Just like Strawberry Fest and Chocolate Fest, you'll be amazed at the scale of this event if it's your first time attending. There will be live music on two stages, games for the kids, and, of course, no Apple Fest is complete without a few epic pie-eating contests!

Tickets (can be purchased at the gate or ahead of time)

$5 per day for anyone over 12

3 Day Pass $10 ($15 dollar value!)  – available online ONLY – Click HERE

I want to share a quick flyover of the schedules, but for more information on events, parking, schedules, check out the Apple Fest website here - http://longgrove.org/festivals/apple-fest/.

And make sure to stop by the Lions Club tent where I will be volunteering for some refreshing apple sangria! All proceeds benefit local charities!

First, the Food

Here's the list from Apple Fest's website. If this doesn't make you immediately hungry, I'm not sure what will:

"At the heart of Apple Fest are the vendors doling out local made, apple-inspired cuisine. In the past, Apple Fest has featured countless handmade options, including items like: chocolate caramel apples, candy-covered apples, apple wine, apple sangria, hard apple ciders, fresh apple cider donuts, spiced apple lattes, granny apple popcorn, green apple cotton candy, apple crisps, apple goat cheese dumplings, apple cheesecake, apple pie, cinnamon apple ice cream, apple sugar cookie, apple tempura, a variety of farm fresh-picked apples from Frank's Farm Orchard, and much more."

Towner Green – Kids Area
