About Me

Born and raised on Chicago's North side neighborhood, Lonnie married, raised a daughter and son and moved to the burbs. Receiving her broker's license in 1980, she was a top producer in the Northwest and Lake County areas before moving to the city in 2005. At the time she started selling real estate, interest rates were at an historical high and closing a sale involved much creativity. This is the experience most realtors don™t have.

She and her husband Jerry searched many areas in the city before purchasing a condo in the Streeterville neighborhood. Thinking the transition from suburban to urban living would take quite some time, they were amazed by how fast they immediately loved living there and the city. The proximity to major highways, nightlife, entertainment, restaurants, Lake Michigan, hospitals, (so much more) makes Streeterville most desirable.

Experience working and living in the city has made her quite familiar with many other neighborhoods. Selling and renting in an area you love makes your career so much more enjoyable and productive.

Experience, maturity, outgoing personality, sense of humor, honesty and professionalism will certainly any buyer, seller or investor that works with Lonnie.

Clients are saying:

"My husband and I have been in Chicago for almost 3 years now in the Streeterville neighborhood. We were ready to move after two years in a high-rise apartment building that had 4 property management companies in two years. Our previous building had also undergone a huge remodeling project and lots of chaos. Basically, we were getting less and less service and paying very high rent.We had become friends with Lonnie and her husband through the dog park in the neighborhood. When it came time to look for a new place to live, I knew that Lonnie was up for the challenge. We wanted to find a rental condo that was large enough for a grand piano (that we had been storing) that would also allow for our golden retriever, Elway, and would cost us less money. We literally only looked at two places with Lonnie and signed a two-year lease on the second place. We love our new home and its a perfect fit on all counts! More space, less money, Elway is welcome and the building staff is like family (many have worked here over 20 years). We cant thank Lonnie enough for her great service in understanding our needs and helping us find the perfect home!! Shes the best!!"
