I was nominated for having collected and delivered more than 7 tons of non-perishables to local food pantries in Northfield and Deerfield since 2006.

• Fun Facts About Michael

1. I'm married 29 years and have three beautiful daughters!

2. Without a handy bone in my body, I flew to Baton Rouge, LA in 2006 to help build 4 homes for the Habitat for Humanity organiztion in a one week blitz for families whose lives were devastated by Hurricane Katrina. There I worked side by side with not only the families who were going to move into the homes, but also with 100+ Realtors from all over the country sharing a common goal and interest.

3. I once came face to face with a Hammerhead shark before it looked at me and disappeared into deep blue water. I've never been so excited and terrified at the same time.

4. Martial Arts was a big part of my life for over 25 years and while I retired as a 3rd degree black belt in 2009, fitness continues to be a passion.

5. A life-long Cubs fan, I attended game 5 of the 2016WS at Wrigley Field and caught a foul ball off the bat of Jason Heyward. 

6. I LOVE metal detecting! There is something about the hunt for lost things that is just so much fun.

7. Personal Notes are powerful! Since 2001, I have written over 11,000 personal notes.
