Third Annual Farm to Fork Fest Heats Up with a Dueling Chef Quickfire Challenge
Terzo Piano, the ultramodern eatery nestled atop the third floor of the Art Institute’s Modern wing, is home to simple but elegant dishes comprised of local, organic, and sustainable foods.
The evening of October 22nd will be no different as they host the Third Annual Farm to Fork Fest, a muti-course celebration of local producers and seasonal eaters.
Enjoy the gorgeous view of the Chicago skyline as you indulge on locally sourced hors d’oeuvres via the mini farmer’s market on the terrace and sip on cocktails as you meet-and-greet with award winning Chef Tony Mantuano, Wine Director Cathy Mantuano, and numerous local farmers, such as Seedling Farm, Living Waters Farm, and Pinn-Oak Farm.
Chef Mantuano, known for his role as chef-partner at Terzo Piano and Spiaggia—Chicago’s only four-star Italian restaurant— will also be facing off against Chef di cucina, Meg Colleran Sahs in a “Quickfire Challenge,” which is not to be missed!
Meg Colleran Sahs, who has been with Terzo Piano since it opened in 2009, will actually be leaving her chef di cucina post officially October 18th to travel, so this is your chance to get one last taste of her delectable cuisine.
Patrons will then enjoy a three-course family-style dinner, featuring farm-picked fruits and vegetables, complete with wine pairings.
Beer and cocktails will also be available for purchase from the bar.
