Gold Coast high-rise surpasses 80-percent-sold mark amid pent up demand in luxury market
Chicago-based Convexity Properties and its exclusive sales and marketing firm, @properties, announced that 4 East Elm, a new luxury high-rise condominium building in Chicago’s Gold Coast, has surpassed the 80-percent sold mark. Residences are available for immediate delivery.
Located at the corner of State and Elm streets, 4 East Elm features half-floor residences with three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. Remaining plans range from 3,486 to 3,516 square feet with prices ranging from $3 million to $4 million. Deeded garage parking is offered from $80,000 per space.
Available condominiums are located in the south tier of the building on floors 8 through 21, offering views of the city, as well as some Lake Michigan views. All homes include private elevator access and high-end finishes and features including 10-foot ceilings; floor-to-ceiling windows; wide-plank flooring in living areas; Florense cabinetry; integrated Sub-Zero, Wolf and Miele appliances; quartz or natural stone countertops; and floating vanities in bathrooms. One variation of the south tier features a large terrace accessed from the family room and the master bedroom, while the other features the terrace off the living and dining area.
According to David Nelson, principal of Convexity Properties, 4 East Elm’s success can be attributed to the building’s design and living spaces, which cater to today’s luxury lifestyles.
“As a boutique building with only 35 condominiums, 4 East Elm offers a level of privacy and exclusivity not found in most new-construction high rises,” said Nelson. “It also has one of the most desirable locations in the city and all of the finishes and amenities that are coveted by today’s luxury buyers.”
“One of the unsung attributes of these remaining south tier homes is the views,” added Michael Golden, co-founder of @properties. “Most every home is going to have at least some lake exposure, and the views down State and Rush are very attractive, especially at night.”
Homeowners at 4 East Elm have access to an assortment of upscale amenities including a 24-hour doorman, fitness center, movie screening room, landscaped sundeck with outdoor pool and spa, and clubhouse lounge with living area and full kitchen.
A LEED Certified building, 4 East Elm was designed by Chicago-based Solomon Cordwell Buenz with interiors by Gary Lee Partners.
Homes are shown by appointment only. For more information about 4 East Elm or to view the new model residence, visit www.4EastElm.com or call 312-542-1144.
