Model residences at the high-rise development highlight remaining luxury condominiums in Chicago.
Two new model residences showcase the remaining luxury condominiums in Chicago available at The Legacy at Millennium Park, a 72-story new construction high-rise in the Loop.
Located at 60 E. Monroe St., just west of Michigan Avenue, The Legacy features 356 condominiums overlooking Millennium Park, Lake Michigan and the city. Remaining homes range in price from $393,000 for an 875-square-foot one-bedroom floor plan to $6 million for a 9,301-square-foot, full-floor penthouse.
The new models highlight The Legacy’s Skyline and Millennium series residences in tiers 01 and 02, located on floors 16 through 59. Both tiers offer panoramic east facing views, with the 01 also facing north and northwest and the 02 opening up to the south and southwest.
Unit 5201 is a three-bedroom, three-bath floor plan with 2,405 square feet, an open living area, and a large eat-in kitchen with island. Upscale finishes include Sub-Zero, Wolf and Miele appliances, dark stained Snaidero cabinets with metal trim, and white carrera marble countertops. The master suite has a large sleeping area, two walk-in closets and an en-suite bath with double vanity, soaking tub and separate shower. The model, by Glen Lusby Interiors, features a contemporary décor with comfortable furnishings, designer lighting and a color scheme of cool blues and greys that echo the hues of Lake Michigan.
Across the hall, unit 5202 also includes three bedrooms and three full baths in a 1,999-square-foot layout. The home features a large living/dining area with hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, and an adjoining private balcony with views of Millennium Park and the Lake. The master bedroom also has a large walk-in closet and bathroom with six-foot soaking tub, separate shower and double vanity. The model highlights an eclectic mix of contemporary and traditional furnishings in natural woods and earth-toned textiles.
“These three-bedroom tiers are kind of the flagship of The Legacy at Millennium Park, in that they feature the spaciousness, luxury and views that set this building apart from other new – or newer – construction in the area. The multiple view perspectives are really beyond description. You just have to come up here to really appreciate how special they are,” said Richard A. Hanson, principal and founder of Mesa Development, which along with Walsh Investors, LLC, is developing the Legacy.
The Legacy also has a variety of exclusive amenities, including: an indoor lap pool, whirlpool spa, two community rooms with adjoining outdoor sky-gardens, a fitness center and an on-site concierge offering valet dry cleaning and package receiving. A sky-bridge also connects The Legacy to the adjacent University Club of Chicago. Legacy residents who are not members can still enjoy certain club privileges, while members have direct access to all of the facilities, programs and services of the University Club. The University Club is an independent private-membership club with admission governed by its own policies and bylaws.
In addition to upscale amenities, The Legacy is surrounded by world-renowned shopping, restaurants, theater and art. Residents are just steps away from Millennium Park, Grant Park, The Art Institute of Chicago, Harris Theater and more.
“Homeowners at The Legacy truly experience the ultimate luxury lifestyle. The residences are very spacious, the location and views are incomparable, and it’s a great value,” said George Schultz, vice president of brokerage services for @properties and exclusive sales and marketing representative for The Legacy at Millennium Park.
Designed by Chicago based architecture firm Solomon Cordwell Buenz , The Legacy has been widely recognized for its contemporary architecture and urban planning. It was recently honored with a Vision Award from the Urban Land Institute, Chicago District Council (ULI Chicago), which celebrates visionary projects, programs and developers.
