Van is a native Chicagoan with 30 years of experience in all facets of the real estate business. Prior to joining Atproperties, Van established his own real estate brokerage company in Lincoln Square. Within a brief time Van acquired numerous awards and accolades from the Chicago Association of Realtors, regarding dollar volume in sales of residential and multi-unit properties. During that time, he also successfully managed 150 apartment units in multiple buildings for investor clients.
Over the years, Van has guided his clients through every type of market no matter how challenging and unique the situation. In doing so, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and skills throughout his career. He also earned a CNE designation ( Certified Negotiation Expert). Van is very effective in securing optimum pricing and terms for his clients, while guiding them through the complexities of selling or purchashing real estate.
