Kerry has been a lifelong resident of the North Shore, having been raised in Highland Park and purchasing a home there as well as owning a home in Deerfield for the last 25 years. Kerry earned his Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Illinois and his JD from the Loyola School of Law.

 

Kerry's passion has always been in hands-on service and compassionate and intuitive involvement with his clients. The opportunity to connect with people and participate in making their dreams a reality has him very excited and energized. He seeks, and typically finds, creative solutions to almost any issue using the benefit of his over 40 years of experience, his extensive network of contacts and his drive to succeed.

 

An accomplished attorney, Kerry has enjoyed a distinguished career in both private practice and in a corporate setting. He began his career as a partner in his father's long-established law firm, Wolfe, Wolfe, & Ryd, which specialized in corporate law, real estate, and estate planning. Their practice delivered comprehensive and cost-effective legal services for both businesses and individuals, establishing a reputation based on the highest degree of integrity and quality work, delivered in a timely fashion. 

 

He has over four decades of experience in many aspects of real estate. Whether it be reviewing contracts, negotiating the transaction, resolving disputes, being a project manager on a multi-home development, coordinating the architecture, design and construction of multimillion dollar private residences, Kerry has seen and participated in every nuance of the industry. 

 

Kerry is known for his collaborative style and trusted advice to senior management through multiple directorships and strategic advisory boards.  Kerry negotiated and completed over 50 business acquisitions, mergers and alliances in the US, Europe, South America and Asia. In each business transaction, he brought integrity, financial and strategic analysis, as well as common sense.

 

Kerry also served as Vice President of Strategic Development and General Counsel for the Atlas Companies, industry leaders in the material handling business for over 50 years. Kerry negotiated and was involved in the sale of all seven of the Atlas companies in three separate transactions in 2009 and 2010. He then formed his own law practice, the Law Offices of Kerry B. Wolfe, P.C, specializing in corporate, real estate law and estate planning which he continues to practice through. 

 

Kerry has expertly guided buyers and sellers through the very challenging times we are now facing and has tools and methods designed to provide his clients the best possible outcomes. He has defined his career as a realtor by providing exceptional hands-on service, experienced and accurate pricing, expert negotiation skills and a dedication to bringing transactions to a conclusion at their optimum values.

 

Kerry loves his family, travel, socializing, playing golf, enjoying sports, daily workouts and making connections. He is also actively involved as Executive Vice President of Cornerstone Jamaica, Inc., a nonprofit enterprise with the mission of providing for the many needs of the youth of Jamaica. Kerry is married to his wife, Sherri, an artist, and has three children and four grandchildren.
