BACKGROUND

Greer Haseman has spent more than 30 years honing her Real Estate expertise with a special emphasis on the historically significant and luxury homes in the Oak Park, River Forest market, often achieving the highpoint in pricing in both communities.

Greer's extensive real estate sales and marketing experience is augmented by her financial services background as an investigator and market analyst for the CBOE and an Account Executive with PaineWebber Securities, now UBS.

Greer is a thought-leader in the industry and is often quoted by media sources regarding trends in real estate. She has been interviewed in Crain's and Chicago Magazine and many of her architecturally significant listings have been featured in those publications as well as on the Channel 5 news.

Greer is a former Director of the Oak Park Regional Housing Center and is a supporter of its ongoing mission to promote diversity. Recently, she served on the Board of Directors of the Oak Park Area Association of Realtors and continues to serve the Realtor community on the Pro Standards Committee.

Greer was awarded the Oak Park Area Association of Realtors, Realtor of the Year Award in 2011 and is a legacy recipient of the 5 Star Real Estate Award. She was named to Crain's Most Influential Real Estate Brokers List in 2018.

PHILOSOPHY

Greer readily admits her philosophy has changed as the business has evolved. She knows if knowledge is a thirst quencher, technology has changed the straw to a fire hose, often not satisfying one's thirst. "It's imperative that my clients have enough information to make an informed decision, but it's also my obligation to help them harness the data so they feel they have an authentic connection".

PERSONAL

An Oak Park native, Greer knows that architecture is an important part of what unifies a community. The historic nature and diversity in housing stock are of special interest to her, as her childhood home is on the 300 block of Forest Avenue, in the heart of the Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie School of Architecture Historic District. Greer has participated in rehabs and restorations in both Oak Park and River Forest.

Greer is an avid environmentalist with an emphasis on protecting our Public Lands. Along with her deep appreciation for the great outdoors, she continues her fight to save our iconic wild horses and burros.

Yearly, Greer strings together a few days to enjoy a bit of skiing, both water and snow. A huge Blackhawks fan, she can often be found cheering them on at a local establishment with her childhood friends from Holmes School and Oak Park River Forest, HS.  She treasures those long-standing friendships, to her, they are the foundation of what made growing up in Oak Park and River Forest so very special.
