Caledonia

Known for its rural character, horse farms and parks, the Village of Caledonia is a close-knit community with a rich history.

Caledonia is one of the biggest villages in the state of Wisconsin. The Caledonia Conservancy provides residents with over 30 miles of equestrian and pedestrian trails, and offers educational programs for those interested in learning more about the varied landscapes, plants and wildlife of the region. During the winter months, the King’s Corner trail is the perfect setting for cross-country skiing.

Parks throughout the village offer beautiful vistas and ample recreational activities. Crawford Park is the village’s newest addition and contains two baseball diamonds, a playground, a shelter, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts and more.

Every weekend, residents and visitors can be found shopping at the iconic 7 Mile Fair. From clothes and electronics to jewelry and antiques, there are many local vendors to explore. The fairground also has a game room, train rides, pony rides and more.

In nearby Wind Point, the Windpoint Lighthouse sits at the north end of the Racine Harbor. Standing 108 feet tall, it is one of the oldest and tallest active lighthouses on the Great Lakes.

Caledonia is conveniently located between several major Midwest cities, with I-94 providing easy access to Milwaukee and Chicago.
