Located in Walworth County, Lyons offers small-town charm and a variety of recreational opportunities.

With access to the White River, residents and visitors enjoy activities like canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. A portion of the White River State Trail also runs through the town offering 19 miles of trails for biking or hiking. During the winter months, cross country skiing and snowmobiling are popular along the trail. Additionally, over 20 miles of state designated Rustic Roads known for their scenery are found in Lyons, and can be traversed year-round by car, bike, or on foot.

A small downtown area is home to a handful of local restaurants and businesses. Just down the street is River View Park, which features a playground, baseball field, and two pavilions for outdoor entertaining. Downtown Lyons is also home to a variety of holiday celebrations and community events.

From acres of farmland to older homes and newer construction, Lyons provides a range of housing options. Just south of Interstate 45, the town is next to Lake Geneva and 45 miles outside of Milwaukee.
