Paris

This southeast Wisconsin town has a long history of agriculture and commerce that is still appreciated today. Located in Kenosha County, Paris is known for its scenic vistas of farmland and traditional dairy barns that dot the landscape.

Paris is home to properties on multiple acres along with cal businesses that are scattered throughout town, many derived from the local farming community. This includes the famous Mars Cheese Castle that is popular with visitors driving along Interstate 94.

Paris is also well known for two historical landmarks. Dedicated in 1866, The Civil War Monument at the Town Hall was the first public-funded Civil War monument erected in Wisconsin. Additionally, the Kenosha Public Museum is home to the Schaefer Mammoth, excavated from a local farm in 1994.
