The southwest suburb of Bolingbrook is the state's second largest village.
Just 30 miles from Chicago, the village is home to a number of national corporate headquarters and business centers and is characterized by an award-winning school district, an expansive outdoor mall, and top-notch public services.
Residents enjoy municipal and park district golf courses as well as numerous golf clubs in neighboring communities. The parks offer trails for hiking and biking and plenty of spots for a picnic or sports. Kids love the area waterpark where they can splash, play, and slide the summer days away.
Bolingbrook also offers residents eclectic dining options. From quaint family dining experiences to the local farmers market and food-infused festivals, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Interstate 55 runs through the southern part of the village, heading northeast to Chicago and southwest to Joliet. Interstate 355 runs along the east side of the village; and Illinois Route 53 runs north and south through the middle of the village.
High school students attend Bolingbrook High School, Plainfield North and Plainfield East, Neuqua Valley High School, Naperville Central, and Downers Grove South.
