Lincolnwood high school students attend highly acclaimed Niles West High School, part of District 219 in neighboring Skokie. Lincolnwood is part of the Oakton Community College District in Skokie. Two Metra commuter rail lines provide residents express service downtown. Commuters also can take a public bus to catch the CTA’s Blue and Yellow L lines.
