Located 55 miles northwest of downtown Chicago near the Chain O'Lakes water system, Fox Lake is a vibrant community with a variety of recreational opportunities. Incorporated as a village in 1907, the community emerged as a vacation destination, with many Chicagoans building summer homes in the area.
