About Grand Junction
Known as the “Blueberry Capital if the World,” Grand Junction boasts an incredible number of berry farms just a few miles inland from the shores of Lake Michigan.
Located in Columbia Township in Southwest Michigan, Grand Junction is a largely rural community with access to nearby lakes. A wide variety of produce is grown and picked here, from strawberries, blueberries, and peaches to pumpkins, asparagus, and corn. The community is especially popular among residents who seek a quiet haven with a small-town feel.
The Kal-Haven Trail State Park runs through Columbia Township, passing through Grand Junction and offering a wealth of recreational opportunities including hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. Parts of the trail are open for horseback riding.
