About Willow Springs
The village of Willow Springs may be close to Chicago but it’s far from urban living with forest preserve trails, parks and recreation.
Located in Cook County along the banks of the Des Plaines River and Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal, the village has just over 5,000 residents.
Village residents can be found enjoying a picnic, playing tennis or horseshoes in one of the village’s parks; kids splashing through rainbows at the Splash Pad and fidos running and playing at the Bark Parks. There’s something for everyone here.
For commuters, there’s a pretty short ride to Union Station in downtown Chicago from the village’s station on Metra’s Heritage Corridor line.
High School students here attend District 217’s Argo Community High School in Summit; Lyons Township High School District 204 in La Grange/Western Springs and Consolidated High School District 230 in Palos Hills.
