Erin Mandel loves real estate. Born into a family of developers from Milwaukee, WI, she has grown up in the business. Real estate is more than a career choice, but rather a true passion. Over the last two decades, Erin has certainly made her mark in Chicago. Erin joined @properties in August, 2010 after a successful six year career with The Belgravia Group. While with the Belgravia Group, Erin sold over $85 Million of new and rehab construction at an average purchase price of $300,000, totaling to over 280 personal real estate transactions.
An @properties top producer and dedicated Chicago Association of Realtors Top 1% real estate broker, Erin nearly tripled her transaction size in 2012 and has continued that momentum over several years to present, 2020. At the beginning of 2015, Erin hired Emily Ahlering to assist in her rapidly growing business. In 2017, Erin expanded her team to include Katherine Melman, Broker Associate and Elizabeth Silvis, Manager of Client Services. Emily, Kate and Elizabeth's quick study and commitment to a likeminded business approach has allowed Erin to supersede all expectations.
Erin attributes a good part of her success to the @properties culture. @properties has mastered an effective, streamlined process allowing her to focus on building her business and personally maintaining each relationship. Residential real estate is an emotional, financial transaction. The key to a successful partnership with any buyer or seller is understanding their motivation. In 2020, Erin joined the social media platform and launched @livingmandel as means to deliver mass listing exposure, up to the minute detail on the market, Chicago neighborhood growth, community awareness and a varied perspective from trusted professionals to include every arm of the real estate business. Erin is committed to providing the highest level of client services with not only the use of breakthrough technology but also making sure to personally communicate with all parties involved in each transaction. Erin received a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a certificate in French Language and Culture from the Universite Paris Sorbonne-Paris IV. She served as a Director for The Chicago Association of Realtors from 2014-2017, Chair for 2012-2013 Chicago Association of REALTORS Young Professionals Network (YPN) Advisory Board while participating as a 2013 CAREF Trustee. Erin has an active role in NAR, CAR, IAR & WCR. In 2012, WCR awarded Erin Entrepreneur of the Year. Additionally, Erin contributes to Children's Special Charities & Special Olympics of Chicago, MARWEN, Children's Hospital, The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Ronald McDonald House and Step Up Chicago.
