Erin Mandel loves real estate. Born into a family of developers from Milwaukee, WI, she has grown up in the business. Real estate is more than a career choice, but rather a true passion. Over the last decade, Mandel has certainly begun to make her mark in Chicago. Mandel joined @properties in August, 2010 after a successful six year career with The Belgravia Group. While with the Belgravia Group, Mandel sold over $85 Million of new and rehab construction at an average purchase price of $300,000, totaling to over 280 personal real estate transactions.
Already an @properties top producer and dedicated real estate broker, Mandel nearly tripled her transaction size in 2012 and is on pace to have another record breaking 2013. Mandel attributes a good part of her success to the @properties culture. @properties has mastered an effective, streamlined process allowing her to focus on building her business and personally maintaining each relationship.
Real estate is an emotional transaction. The key to a successful partnership with any buyer or seller is understanding their motivation. Every Chicago agent has access to the same MLS database, may elect to join the same Association and is taught the exact same process. It is in the execution of this process that distinguishes Mandel from her peers.
Mandel has exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication and interactive skills enabling her to effectively work with buyers, sellers and agents in the toughest of negotiations. Mandel takes a strong leadership role in managing client expectations and truly believes in dedicated service during and after the sale. As business continues to become less reliant on face to face interaction; Mandel remains committed to the value of relationships. At the beginning of 2015, Mandel hired Emily Vutech to assist in her rapidly growing business. Vutech's quick study and commitment to a likeminded business approach has allowed Mandel to supersede all expectations.
Mandel received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a certificate in French Language and Culture from the Universite Paris Sorbonne-Paris IV. She is currently serving as the Chair for 2012-2013 Chicago Association of REALTORS Young Professionals Network (YPN) Advisory Board while participating as a 2013 CAREF Trustee. Mandel has an active role in NAR, CAR, IAR & WCR. In 2012, WCR awarded Mandel Entrepreneur of the Year. Additionally, Mandel contributes to Children’s Special Charities & Special Olympics of Chicago, MARWEN, Children’s Hospital, BIN Donated, The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Ronald McDonald House and Step Up Chicago.
