Candice Schembri is a seasoned real estate operations professional with more than 20 years of behind-the-scenes experience spanning both title and brokerage. Today she wears two hats: Director of Compliance at Christie's International Real Estate, and founder of CS Transaction Co., her own transaction coordination business.

Her real estate journey began in title operations in 1998, giving her a ground-level understanding of exactly what happens on the other side of the closing table. Over the years she's done it all on the operations side — closing files, helping launch new real estate offices, managing agent support, and working hand-in-hand with Brokers to keep everything moving. Most recently on the brokerage side, she served as Director of Agents at @properties Christie's International Real Estate in Austin, playing an integral role in opening the brokerage's first Austin office.

Now back at Christie's as Director of Compliance, Candice puts her deep knowledge of contracts, title, and brokerage operations to work keeping deals clean and buttoned-up. Alongside that role, she founded CS Transaction Co. to bring that same detail-oriented, nothing-slips-through-the-cracks approach directly to agents — coordinating every transaction seamlessly from contract to close.

Real estate has always been part of her world. She grew up in Colorado surrounded by family in the business — a father who spent decades as a successful agent and a mother in the mortgage industry — and learned early how it all works. She just always knew her place was behind the scenes, making sure everyone else could do their best work.
