Chris Greening
231.392.2768A Traverse City native with deep roots throughout Northern Michigan, Chris Greening brings a firsthand understanding of the communities, neighborhoods, lakes, and lifestyles that make this part of Michigan such an incredible place to call home.
Over the years, Chris has called communities throughout Grand Traverse, Leelanau, and Benzie counties home. From Traverse City's east and west sides to the smaller towns across the region, those experiences have given him an understanding the distinct character, lifestyle, and sense of community each area offers.
Chris believes finding the right property is about more than bedrooms, bathrooms, and square footage. It's about understanding how someone wants to live. Whether that means being close to downtown Traverse City, settling into a smaller close-knit community, finding lake frontage, a beautiful view, or having acreage and privacy, Chris uses his local knowledge to help buyers identify not just the right house, but the right place.
An avid fisherman, Chris has spent countless hours exploring Northern Michigan's inland lakes and waterways. Having fished and explored lakes throughout the region, he brings firsthand knowledge of everything from water clarity and depth to shoreline characteristics, lake bottoms, and the types of fishing different lakes offer. For clients considering waterfront property, that experience provides a perspective that goes well beyond what can be found in a listing description.
Licensed in real estate since 2017, Chris came to the industry after owning and operating a business in Traverse City. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserve and remains involved in the veteran community through a Northern Michigan veterans nonprofit called 22 2 NONE (more on that here: 222none.org). As a father of four, his connection to the area is both professional and deeply personal.
Chris is proud to represent the region he has spent his life calling home. His goal is simple: combine local knowledge, straightforward advice, and years of real estate experience to help his clients make confident decisions—and find the part of Northern Michigan that feels like home.
