Some agents learned their market from a textbook. Jacob Orr learned his paddling the St. Clair River, biking the streets of downtown Port Huron, and spending thirty-some years calling the Blue Water area home.

Jacob was born in Port Huron and lives there today with his wife Kelli and their son, minutes from the Lake Huron shoreline. When he tells you where to watch the freighters slide under the Blue Water Bridge, which beaches the locals keep to themselves, and which blocks fill with kids on summer evenings, it's not research. It's his life.

His career is in technology. As an associate director of IT and the owner of a local solutions company, he gets paid to do one thing well: catch the small stuff before it becomes the big stuff. He studied Research Psychology at the University of Michigan-Flint, so he pays attention to how people actually make decisions. Jacob works the other way: clear information, honest answers, and no urgency tactics, so the decision stays yours.
