Jeff Wellman is an associate broker of @properties | Christie's International Real Estate in Petoskey, Michigan. Jeff passionately brought Christie's to Northern Michigan in 2018 to help buyers and sellers in the luxury market experience the Christie's difference in marketing property.

Jeff has helped clients and friends with their real estate needs for over 35 years in Northern Michigan. As an investor in real estate himself he has gained knowledge to help clients with all aspects of property ownership and development. Jeff has personally developed vacant land sites and subdivisions, condominium and home developments, apartment building and multi family restorations, lakefront developments, and if you want the internal rate of return (IRR) on a commercial property, he can take care of that as well. Jeff literally wrote the book on investing in property. His 2006 publication of "Real Estate For Life" has helped agents and clients learn the intricacies of investing in real estate.

He says he was lucky to be raised in this beautiful area and even luckier to be able to raise his family here. Jeff loves to share the Northern Michigan experience with his wife, three children, friends, and clients. You can find him backcountry skiing, sailing, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, competing in a local triathlon, or simply walking along pristine beaches that are so prevalent.

Jeff has helped numerous local boards and organizations raise money for community support projects. He is most passionate in helping children with cancer or other disabling diseases through the Camp Quality organization in Boyne City. In 1994, Jeff started the Camp Quality Fundraising Weekend in Boyne City to help support the organization financially. This weekend evolved into Boyne Thunder which generates hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit Camp Quality.
