After more than a decade behind the scenes as a top-tier transaction coordinator with Christie's International Real Estate in Fort Worth, Katy now brings her extensive contract, compliance, and marketing expertise directly to her own clients.
Katy began her real estate career in 2013 in California, helping home buyers discover their dream homes. When she returned to Fort Worth in 2014, she shifted into a transaction coordinator role, managing contracts, amendments, addenda, deadlines, and details for high-performing agents. That experience gave her a deep, practical understanding of every step of a real estate transaction—knowledge she now uses to guide her clients with confidence, clarity, and care.
A proud TCU Horned Frog, Katy holds a bachelor's degree in both Journalism and Spanish (2002) and a master's in Liberal Arts. Before real estate, she built a successful career as a journalist and communicator. While at the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, she broke the international story of Vice President Dick Cheney accidentally shooting a longtime friend on a South Texas quail hunt—coverage that led her to a broadcast reporting role at KNXV-TV, the ABC affiliate in Phoenix. In 2008, Katy returned to Texas and transitioned into public relations, promoting her hometown of Corpus Christi, before a move to California sparked her enduring passion for real estate.
Today, Katy combines her investigative mindset, communication skills, and transaction management background to offer clients a seamless, informed, and low-stress experience—whether they are purchasing their first home, selling a longtime residence, or expanding an investment portfolio. Her keen eye for detail, strategic marketing approach, and strong contract knowledge ensure her clients are protected, prepared, and positioned for success.
When she's not working for her clients, Katy is happily on the go with her two children, Zoe and Zane, shuttling between piano, band practice, karate, soccer, and other activities. Her husband, Marcus, is a program manager and software engineer in aerospace with Lockheed Martin. As a family, they enjoy hiking, camping, and traveling throughout Texas and beyond.
