Barbie joined @properties in September 2020. She started her career in real estate in 2016. Back then, she was working with one of the leading developers in Dubai and specialized in selling off-plan properties (properties which would take 3-5 years to get ready) such as Townhouses, Condominiums, Hotel Apartments & Mansions.
Talking about her educational background, she has a Bachelors in Commerce from University of Mumbai and a Diploma in Event Management. Ever since her first job she has been into sales. Since she was from the sales industry and during her conversation with her clients she noticed how most of her clients, given an opportunity, would prefer investing into real estate in Dubai. This got her intrigued and she started studying more about it and finally realized that Dubai's market was something else as the opportunity was immense. So she pursued to get into it and finally, by December 2016, she got the opportunity to work with one of the leading developer's in Dubai.
Barbie understands what it is like to stand in her clients' shoes. Acquiring experience in sales and relocating several times - renting, buying & selling homes for her own - has offered Barbie a sensitivity towards her clients' journey, which can be attributed to the first-hand perspective she gained through her personal experience. Being a broker since 4 years in distinct markets, she has realized that real estate is a hobby and not a job.
Fast forward to December 2019, she got married and decided to move to the beautiful city of Chicago. Once in Chicago, she spent 6 months, understanding the market, the people, the culture, and then she got ready to jump in and get going to do what she loves the most, which is help people find what they would call it their home. She's very grateful to be a part of this amazing city and with her experince she would love to cater her clients to the best of her ability by providing a top class professional service in their search.
Other than real estate, she loves to cook. So she makes some finger licking fusion food and loves to experiment with distinct cuisines in her free time.
